Ghent Coordinator
wouter.lambrecht@cvnp.be

Wouter Lambrecht is affiliated as a clinical neuropsychologist with the Center for Neuropsychology & the Brain Injury Practice (Ghent). In addition to a coordinating and supervising role, he is mainly active in the field. Within his clinical work, he carries out neuropsychological diagnostics and offers neuropsychological rehabilitation (in terms of cognition, emotion & behavior). He also uses various neuropsychotherapeutic principles. Wouter is also regularly asked to carry out expertises.

Besides his clinical work, Wouter regularly gives lectures and training on the consequences of ABI and neuropsychology in general. This as a guest lecturer within training courses at various colleges and universities, but also as a 'freelancer' for e.g. general practitioners. He also guides peer support contacts and information evenings for people with ABI and their environment.

He also collaborates with others to develop new treatments, to develop new tests, ... Wouter is also (co-)author of a number of articles and co-wrote the book 'Breinzicht' with Noortje Hermans and the therapeutic manual 'Kop Op!' with Camille De Schaepmeester. Wouter very regularly retrains himself by following specialized courses and congresses. For example, he followed the specialization course in Parkinson's care, a multi-day ACT course and a one-year course in narrative therapy.
